I founded the “Blood Pledge”, aka Guild, in June on 06/01/2002. That’s twenty-plus years together with over 1,000+ members.

We have played together across the decades in games like Lineage, Lord of the Rings Online, World of Warcraft, Star Wars The Old Republic, Guild Wars 2, and so many more.

Dec – 12-03-2001 – Prince Destion starts playing Lineage. Among his founding and great members are: Tigonoh, SirLOTR ( manwie), French, SirRay, SirGlenn, SirBear, DazedArcher, Blackkalgath, Pistos, Alain, Mortician, SirRaven, Partime, Vrolok, Supervegeta, Razil, Dunnubiuos, Sonnet, Abby.
Dec – 12-15-2001 – Lineage becomes the first massively multi player online role playing game to host Macintosh and PC users adventuring side-by-side in a vast and ever changing fantasy world with hundreds of players.
Dec – 12-15-2001 – Guru Kismet begins playing Lineage.

— 2002 —

Feb – 02-30-2002 – Guru Kismet joins Griffonclaw, pledge lead by Prince Hesrai. Other founding members of Griffonclaw: Chummer, IngRadi, Rathi (Daimian), Gwenlevit, Atilian, Xostros, KoopaTroopa, Aculed, Dendrite, Malziller, Satoru. Guru becomes royal advisor to Prince Hesari.
Feb – 02-30-2002 Prince Destion & Prince Hesari have chance meeting in dragon valley / fires of ironforge Area. Hesrai later agrees to become part of the Ring Alliance as Griffonclaw, Ring of Water. A funny note is Prince Destion forgets to tell pledge and Tig says they think Hesrai stole their emblem.
Mar – 03-13-2002 – First Griffonclaw website created by Guru Kismet. Guru’s maps become famous worldwide in the Lineage community. Made from 1000’s of screenshots painstakingly put together & posted for the community to use.
Jun – 06-01- 2002 – Prince Kismet is created. Kismet BP created as brother pledge to Griffonclaw.
Jun – 06-25-2002 – Kismet pledge & website goes online with 8 original members. Guru Kismet designs & upkeeps site.
Jun – 06-25-2002 – Rare Screenshots of the early days days of the Kismet BP.
Jun – 06-25-2002 – Newly formed Kismet Team helps out at Heine siege.
Jul – 07-18-2002 – Ring Alliance accepts and adopts new logo design based on Guru Kismet & Rathi’s design. Adopted by all Ring Alliance pledges at once.
Oct – 10-02 2002 – Griffonclaw Members and Officers
Dec – 12-02-2002 – Founding of Kismet, Ring of Destiny on LOA (Lands of Aden). Also first day LOA server goes open beta with permanent characters. Prince Kismet first 25 to log on server to secure his names. Officially steps down from running Griffonclaw.com. Couple weeks into LOA server Kismet gets amazing drop, BloodtoSoul on his elf GuruKismet in elf caves (the first on the server I believe & worth millions at the time). He uses his quick mana regen to enchant people with his earth elf around Aden and goes from town to town as they are still low level. This leads to many people joining months later remembering his kindness. Prince Kismets elf plays a critical part in collecting the money for the Kismet Houses.

— 2003 —

Jan – 01-02-03 – Guru Kismet shifts his primary character and identity name to Prince Kismet. Prince Kismet completes leveling his 3 princes, Kismet, Loyalty, Respect to 15 to start the pledges going. Also secures 3 Houses “The Kismet House”, “Respect House”, “Loyalty House” for only 128k each.
Jan – 01-02-03 – Chummer first member to join on LOA.
Jan – 01-04-03 – First official meeting on LOA server in lineage, in our new house in Heine. Kismet BP is open to add members. Prince Kismet adds a ton of new members including Hellfyre (aka Elvenfyre), Heavensblade, FireRaven, Rathi, MariammRose, Teron, DamePegases, Pi, Dazed, Jameson, Elfindahood2, Chi, Nelwen, Elfvi, Grizzledome, Yenn, Ziplocke, Glorifindeal, Frey (Prince Hesari), Tigo (Tigonoh), Torrent, Zapa, Ckmr and Devon to become founding members of the Kismet Team on LOA. Bonus Picture of Heavensblade as dog Tamer, Loyalty, Respect & Nel.
Jan – 01-06-03 – Wiggles, a founding member of Kismet on Ken joins the team on LOA.

Jan – 01-12-03 – Kismet Team’s first pledge hunt on LOA server in Lineage. Run through TI Caves. While grouping up a funny shot of a person coming down the stairs into TI Caves, sees the team assembled and says “don’t kill me”. Pledge hunts & parties are started by the Kismet Scribe, MairamRose.
Jan – 01-11-03 – Celloman joins the Kismet Team.
Jan – 01-18-03 – Glenndar joins the Kismet Team.
Jan – 01-23-03 – Fandal joins the Kismet Team.
Jan – 01-26-03 – HeavensBlade & HellFyre first to receive a Kismet Award, The Star of Honor for helping with Loyalty’s lev 15 quest. Kismet team also gets in some siege practice at Heine.
Jan – 01-28-03 – Spock joins the Kismet Team.
Feb – 02-01-03 – Kismet House in Heine sold. Loyalty swaps house with Respect so can siege with help from the pledge buy rasing a “House” fund for Respect to buy out the house for 2 million. All members repaid for their help.
Feb – 02-04-03 – AngLobsom joins the Kismet Team.

Chummer, ElvenFyre, Heavensblade and Dew are knighted by Prince Kismet and Awarded the Kismet Star for contributions to the pledge. Dew is appointed to special rank of Pledge Guardian. These members are from then on addressed a Sir Chummer, Lady ElvenFyre, Sir Heavensblade, Lady Dew. Kismet Wedding shot featured (and still is) on lineage.com screenshots page. Dec – 12-08-03 – Kismet Team joins together with many large pledges in a pact to recover US Siege times. Kismet helps team take IGG the toughest castle with an amazing show of Teamwork from members. Among its allies are: BaboPrince, Runa, Blueknight, Aurellis, Devil. The Kismet Team becomes part of the strongest alliance in LOA history taking all castle and resetting them to US times to siege. The Kismet Team has their pick of castles. EMG rules the battle.
Dec – 12-24-03 – Kismet Team Takes over Giran Castle. 2nd Largest City in game. Has option to take over Aden or IGG also. Holds for nearly a month.

Jan – 01-17-04 – Final Castle to reset time on is won, Castle Windadwood. Kismet Team fulfills it pledge to reset siege times. Later, sadly after our mission is complete Aurellis, racially driven, ignores promises made to allies and the Kismet Team later steps out of Alliance.
Jan – 01-11-04 – Fireraven scammed by a unscrupulous person. Kismet team responses by Trade Spamming any of her char if they should come online in an effort to protect her belongings. Prince Kismet talks with monitors to monitor the activity of these char.
Feb – 02-01-04 – Kismet Team Passes Giran to Lordblue of the SacredSouls as siege times have been reset and our goal complete. Kismet returns to house pledge.
Feb – 02-01-04 – Beladona hits lev 49.
Feb – 02-07-04 – TheMagician gets 2nd place in Giran DeathMatch with a score of 166593.
Feb – 02-22-04 – Rebourne gets no 9 in Giran DeathMatch with a score of 121836. Quickly tops himself and gets 3rd place with a score of 148382 just behind TheMagician.

Drives Miles away and copies Lineage onto a friends machine and within 1hr he’s back online. Ariadnes, Myztical, Callandriel knighted by Kismet and Awarded the Kismet Star. Kismet team groups up and hunts Giants together until Kismet hits 50! Then begins the Grand Party at Giran Square. Members hide with prizes all over Aden and the Public searches for them. Glen settles his 1 million dollar bet with Lord Kismet.

Team gives out Millions in prizes and becomes Pledge largest event yet. Prince Kismet is Coronated by Sir Heavenblade from Prince to Lord of Kismet with a gift of the Heart of Dragon as his Kismet Star. Becomes Lord Kismets most cherished item that still remains on his char to this day. LadyStorm who had just recently turned 50 on her Royal as well wins the grand prize of 1 million adena from the Kismet BP by finding our invisible mage twice.

The Leader of the NC Soft Lineage Team and founder of the LOA server Capt Sturm comes online to personally congratulate Lord Kismet in a super rare appearance. One of Lord Kismets most memorable moments.

Then suddenly an endless spawn wave kicks in and the leaders realized it cant be won and call for retreat but too late… OUCH.. all dead…except for a lucky prince who by some miracle just makes it to the mineral caves & after a wait, is able to explore around!

Apr – 04-01-05 – HeavensBlade now famous joke (or in-famous depending on your point of view) on Elvenfyre where he took her items and put in an alt char and let her think she got hacked. Luckily Ercon gives Lady Fyre a note from Heavensblade saying don’t let her blow anything up before she sets loose on her items. Here is a college by Pensuke about the joke.
May – 05-05-05 – NC Soft “fixes” Potion delay on LOA Server. Causes disconnect deaths to rise dramatically and greatly reducing the fun of gameplay due to lost experience after each death. One of the reasons Lord Kismet, after many deaths on his Prince, considers moving on from the game.
May – 05-14-05 – Darkelflord hits 48.
May – 05-17-05 – Kismet puts out the “Kismet BP Guide” a combination of all the guides created over the last several years.

May – 05-25-05 – Pensuke’s exceptional paper on the Kismet Pledge, Lord Kismet & his adventures in Lineage. Most notably untitled by Pensuke simple called “A story that I wrote for my English class…”
May – 05-29-05 – Lord Kismets Far well party. Finarfin (Elwe), Shaved & SirSteve (Teeber) knighted by Lord Kismet and Honored with the Kismet Star for contributions to the pledge. House deathmatch with a stunning amount of mobs for prizes. Monitor 35 drops by to watch fireworks due to Kismet team setting off millions in fireworks. In a surprise twist by Lord Kismet, instead of giving away (2) 1 million dollar prizes Lord Kismet gives out 2 million to EACH member totaling over 100 million from all of his items he sold! Plus millions in items from his storage. Kismet leave members in pledge for one week and will clear them once house is sold. Kismet says his last goodbyes and logs off after 2 years and 4+ months of running the Kismet BP on LOA. 3 years and 4_ months from the day he started. Members PM Kismet and describe the emptiness it felt when they knew Kismet would no longer stand in his special spot at the top of House where he’d run many meetings. Kismet turns pledge over to TheMagican who will ultimately turn it over to Teeber who will become Lord Teeber leader of the Kismet Legends. Kismet bestows his +9 sword of eva to Teeber as token turning over the mantle to him.

Dec- 12-31-12 – Kismet wishes everyone happy new year as well as gives an update on the team. Kismet closes team in SWTOR due to server merging and loss of our Guild Name. After several attempts to work with customer service to resolve, Kismet closes the guild down after our move to GW2.
Dec- 12-31-12 – Kismet also closes down all registration on swtor.kismetbp.com and transfers all focus on GW2.
